How to order

Bento and Buffet

1. Browse Bento and Buffet

Browse our available bento, corporate buffet, mini buffet, and canape box menus in the header above.

2. Select menu of choice

  • Click into menu of choice
  • Select type of menu (if any), and selection of beverages (if any)
  • Note the minimum order for each menu
  • Select the number of guests (Quantity of orders for mini buffet)

3. Check Out

  • At cart page, check to ensure menu ordered, choices, and quantity is correct.
  • Select the relevant delivery/self collection option.
  • Provide us with your Name, Contact, Address at the check out page.

*Do note that only 1 type of menu is allowed for ordering (E.g. each order cannot include a buffet + bento order)

2. Event Details

  • Event Location

Check if there is a loading & unloading bay, height restrictions for loading and unloading bay, any steps from loading and unloading bay to set up area, parking

  • Event Timing / Timeline
  • No. of Pax
  • Type of Event: Lunch Buffet/ Dinner Bento/ Tea Break Bento etc
  • Theme / Colour Scheme

3. Additional Details

  • Will you require porcelain ware or disposable ware for plates & cutleries?
  • If porcelain ware is required, extra service staff will be added.
  • Let us know if there is a back area to store soiled plates & cutleries.

4. Quotation, Payment, and Event

  • Quotation will be sent over as soon as we can, with a 3 working days lead time to process the order
  • Client to endorse the quotation
  • Collect payment
  • Event executed!

  • Type of Event: Canapes to be butler served or buffet style
  • Shiok Kitchen Catering will propose the number of staffing required
  • Theme / Colour Scheme

3. Additional Details

  • Let us know if you prefer the bar to be visible to guests or hidden from guests. It usually depends on the space and location.
  • Send us a video/photo of the location or request for us to go down for a site recee (To ensure we have enough space for plating/clearing/bar).

4. Quotation, Payment, and Event

  • Quotation will be sent over as soon as we can, with a 3 working days lead time to process the order
  • Client to endorse the quotation
  • Collect payment
  • Event executed!

3. Additional Details

  • Please provide us with a plotted floorplan of the event space (Shiok Kitchen Catering will inform you about the number of side stations)
  • Check if renting of any logistics is required:

6ft by 2.5ft Long table with ivory or black skirting

(Will advise each table can fit how many pax)

  • Check the back area for power points and amount of space for plating and clearing
  • Let us know if customized designs for menu cards and table numbers are required
  • For western sit down, let us know if name tents are required. We will assist to print the name tents for them. These are chargeable.
  • Check the type of fresh florals required.

4. Pre-order Details

  • Will inform the client to provide preorder for 5 working days before the event + guests dietary restrictions
  • Will request for the client to plot out floorplan + meal plan
  • Run through the timeline with the client and let them know how long it takes for each course so they can plan their programme.
  • Check if any of their programmes requires any stop service.

5. Quotation, Payment, and Event

  • Quotation will be sent over as soon as we can, with a 3 working days lead time to process the order
  • Client to endorse the quotation
  • Collect payment
  • Event executed!
